Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using the SovereignEG API ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

SovereignEG provides an AI inference API that follows the request and response formats of OpenAI's Chat Completions, Embeddings, Image generation and Models endpoints, plus a System One endpoint for decision models. Other OpenAI APIs (for example Responses, Assistants, Audio, Files, Batch and fine-tuning) are not offered, and support for individual parameters varies by model. Requests are processed by AI models run by SovereignEG or by third-party model providers, as described in our Provider Disclosure, and depending on the model the Service returns generated text, images, embeddings or structured answers. SovereignEG does not persistently store prompt or completion content, except chats you save in the hosted playground.

3. Accounts and API Keys

You must provide accurate registration information.
You are responsible for all activity under your API keys.
You must not share API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code.
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Pricing and Payment

There is no free plan and no free monthly token allowance. Usage is charged in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) against your organization's prepaid credit balance at the applicable per-model rates: token-priced models per token, with input and output priced separately, and image generation per image. Usage in the dashboard and hosted playgrounds is charged the same way as API usage.
Credits are non-refundable except as required by law or as set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Free credit (the welcome credit, coupons and referral rewards) is promotional. It has no cash value and may be withdrawn under section 4 of our Refund Policy, for example where more than one account is used to claim it.
Prices are set in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) per model and shown in our model catalog. Many models are supplied by third-party providers that charge in US dollars, so EGP prices can change daily as provider prices and the USD/EGP exchange rate move. Each request is charged at the price shown in the catalog at the time of the request.

5. Data and Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
We do not use your prompts or completions to train models.
We do not persistently store prompt or completion content. Chats and files you add in the hosted playground are stored securely so you can come back to them later.

6. Acceptable Use

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
Violations may result in suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your inputs and outputs.
We retain ownership of the Service, its software, and documentation.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased.
You are responsible for reviewing and validating all outputs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SovereignEG's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@sovereigneg.com from the email address registered on the account. Account closure is not available in the dashboard. Owners of a team organization can delete that organization from the dashboard, which revokes its API keys.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, with notice where practicable.
When your account is closed or terminated, you can no longer sign in, and the API keys you created are deactivated. Service-account keys in a team organization are controlled by that organization's owners. Unused credit on a closed account is handled under our Refund Policy, and the records we keep after closure are described in our Privacy Policy.
