Cookies We Use
SovereignEG uses a small set of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and remember your selections. On our public website pages only, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website, and LinkedIn's Insight Tag to measure our LinkedIn advertising. We set no advertising cookies on our own domain; LinkedIn's own cookies are described below. Our own first-party analytics uses your browser's storage instead of cookies (see Browser Storage below).

SovereignEG staff using our internal operator console also receive infergo_operator (4 hours, HttpOnly) and infergo_operator_label (30 days). Customers never receive these.

These are set on our own domain, and only on the public website pages listed below.
Advertising measurement (LinkedIn)
We do not load LinkedIn's script. On the public website pages listed below, your browser requests a 1×1 image from LinkedIn (px.ads.linkedin.com) that tells LinkedIn which page you viewed. That request sets no cookie on our domain. If your browser allows third-party cookies, LinkedIn can read and set its own cookies on linkedin.com with that request. Some of them, such as UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, lms_ads, lms_analytics and li_sugr, are used to recognise LinkedIn members for ad measurement and retargeting; others, such as bcookie and lidc, serve LinkedIn's security and infrastructure. LinkedIn controls those cookies, their purposes and their lifetimes; see LinkedIn's cookie table.
Browser Storage
Our own analytics uses browser storage, not cookies. Nothing here is shared with third parties.

What This Means
- Public website pages only. Google Analytics and the LinkedIn pixel run only on our public pages — home, pricing, models, blog, changelog, docs, security, customers, Enterprise Studio, about, contact, the legal pages and sign-up. They never run in the signed-in console, on the sign-in, password-reset, email-verification, team-invite or payment pages, or on any link that carries a token or a referral code.
- What Google receives. The address of the page you view and of the page you came from — without query strings, apart from campaign tags such as
utm_source— the page title, interactions such as scrolling, clicks on links to other sites, file downloads and starting a form (never what you type), your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your approximate location, and device and browser details. - What LinkedIn receives. The address of the page you view — without query strings, apart from campaign tags such as
utm_sourceand LinkedIn's own click identifier — and the time of the visit, plus what every image request carries: your IP address, browser details, our site's address (without the page path) as the referring site, and LinkedIn's own cookies as described above. - Other third parties — on the sign-in and sign-up pages, the "Sign in with Google" button is loaded from Google (accounts.google.com), and Google may set or read its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
- Our first-party analytics does not use cookies and is not shared with third parties.
- Our own cookies are scoped to the application domain with
SameSite=Lax.
Your Choices
- Google Analytics: install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on or use a content blocker. Deleting the
_gacookies only resets the identifier; it does not stop collection. - LinkedIn: blocking third-party cookies in your browser stops LinkedIn's cookies being sent with the request and does not affect signing in to SovereignEG; a content blocker stops the request itself. LinkedIn members can manage ad settings at linkedin.com/psettings/advertising; visitors without a LinkedIn account can use LinkedIn's retargeting opt-out.
Clearing Cookies
Sign out with Sign out in the dashboard's user menu, which removes the sovereigneg.com sign-in cookies, or clear cookies and site data for sovereigneg.com and playground.sovereigneg.com in your browser settings. Signing out of the dashboard does not end a playground session already open in the same browser, and does not remove the Google Analytics cookies.
