1. Purpose
This policy defines what you may and may not do with the SovereignEG API. We enforce this policy to protect our users, our infrastructure, and the broader community.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use the SovereignEG API to:
2.1 Illegal Activity
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Generate content that facilitates illegal activity
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, or financing of terrorism
2.2 Harmful Content
- Generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance
- Generate content that promotes violence against specific individuals or groups
- Generate non-consensual intimate imagery
- Create deepfakes for deception or harassment
2.3 Deception
- Impersonate individuals or organizations
- Generate misleading content presented as factual (e.g., fake news, fake reviews)
- Create automated accounts that misrepresent themselves as human
2.4 Privacy Violations
- Extract personal information from prompts or outputs for surveillance
- Attempt to re-identify anonymized data
- Process personal data without a lawful basis
2.5 Infrastructure Abuse
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or authentication
- Reverse-engineer the models or infrastructure
- Use the API to benchmark competitors without permission
- Launch denial-of-service attacks
2.6 High-Risk Decisions Without Human Oversight
- Make autonomous decisions about employment, credit, housing, or criminal justice without meaningful human review
- Provide medical, legal, or financial advice presented as authoritative
2.7 Third-party model providers
- Many models are served by third-party providers through SovereignEG's own accounts with them. After you sign in, the
enginesfield ofGET /v1/modelsand each model's dashboard page show which providers serve a provider-backed model (see also our Provider Disclosure). Requests to those models must also comply with the serving provider's usage policies. - Those providers apply their own content filtering and abuse monitoring, so a request may be refused or fail with an error. Use that puts our provider accounts at risk is treated as a severe violation under section 3.
3. Enforcement

If we suspend an organization, requests made with its API keys and in the playgrounds are refused (HTTP 403 org_suspended), but its members can still sign in to view usage and billing data. If we suspend a user account, that user cannot sign in, and API keys the user created are revoked and stay revoked if the account is later restored. While suspended, you can ask support@sovereigneg.com for copies of your invoices and usage records.
4. Reporting
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, email support@sovereigneg.com with as much detail as you can (including X-Request-Id if you have it).
5. Appeals
Suspended users, and users whose promotional credit was removed, may appeal by replying to our notice or emailing support@sovereigneg.com within 14 days of the notice. We will respond within 5 business days.
